Just next to the Zorn Museum lies the Zorn House, one of Sweden’s most famous artists’ homes. Inspired by local building traditions and the English Arts & Crafts movement, Anders and Emma Zorn created a home for themselves and a place for a vibrant social life. At the time, their guests included Prince Eugen, Carl and Karin Larsson, Albert Engström, and Erik Axel Karlfeldt. Stepping into the house is like traveling at least 100 years back in time. Here, art and decorative objects from near and far are brought together.
Join a guided tour and let yourself be captivated by the setting and the remarkable story of Anders and Emma Zorn.

The Zorn Museum is dedicated to Anders Zorn (18601920) and boasts the world’s largest collection of his works. Here, Zorn’s watercolors, oil paintings, sculptures, and etchings are displayed alongside art and craft from the artist’s own collections.
Current temporary exhibition
Zorn - A Life, A Time until April 19, 2026
Zorn lived during a time of transition and came to exist in parallel worlds. Constantly traveling in search of new commissions, he was always exploring new environments. Zorn was an artist prince who could live on the same level as his wealthy clients, but also the central figure in a circle of rather unruly artist friends who partied, smoked, and drank more than they should.
Upcoming exhibition
In Darkness and Light - Works by John Bauer and Zorn, May 14 - August 30, 2026
