Zorn lived during a time of transition and moved between parallel worlds. Constantly traveling in search of new commissions, he was always exploring new environments. Zorn was an artist prince, able to live on the same level as his wealthy patrons, yet also the central figure in a circle of delightfully unruly artist friends who partied, smoked, and drank more than they should. Together with his wife Emma, he was the perfect host at Zorngården’s elegant dinner parties.The exhibition Zorn A Life, A Time seeks to reflect all of thisand morethrough the artist’s own works, photographs, fascinating objects, and immersive environments.

The Zorn Museum is dedicated to Anders Zorn (18601920) and boasts the world’s largest collection of his works. Here you’ll find Zorn’s watercolors, oil paintings, sculptures, and etchings, along with art and crafts from the artist’s personal collection.

Admission to the Zorn Museum does not need to be booked in advance. Tickets can be purchased on-site.
